In 1999, Mrs. Marian was awarded a Celebration of Excellence Award, from the CT State Department of Education, for her Team Teapot project.
Woo boy will it be a busy few weeks!!! Senior art show is next week and if people don’t frame and label their works I will be FURIOUS!!! AHAAAAAA!!!
We also had a tea party today in Ceramics II!! That boi Anthony - uh what’s his last name? - wasn’t there but Wendy was sure to drink out of his teapot (because hers wasn’t functional!!!! Awk!)
Also I got a little annoyed when people poured their tea without me to evaluate how their teapot poured!

You picked up a pencil/pen/crayon/stick (others?) when you were a wee little spritely thing and decided that you had something that you had to express. And you decided that whatever it was that needed expressing could not be trusted to the ephemera, the vacuum-headed open-ended, mere vibration of vocal cord-ness of the spoken word. Oh, no! You decided that you must express with the written language, that language of timelessness and firm courage to endure in black and white on the vulnerable empty page asking to be made full. You wrote!
